Special aluminum foil for hookahs.
Contrary to what many might think, it is necessary to use aluminum specifically designed for hookahs when preparing our bowls.

When a heat management device or charcoal is placed directly onto the aluminum foil, the foil is subjected to intense heat; therefore, the foil used must have the appropriate thickness and specific properties for this purpose. Standard supermarket aluminum foil is not suitable.

Consider that while this aluminum is 40 microns thick, the aluminum available in supermarkets is barely 8–10 microns thick, meaning its heat resistance is minimal compared to what this product offers.

Likewise, simply using multiple layers of the thinner material is not enough, as the compaction and heat transfer would differ due to the material being split into 4–5 layers, resulting in different bowl performance.

Furthermore, the fact that you need to use a larger amount of the supermarket version to achieve greater thickness means it is not as cost-effective as we might think; consequently, the price paid for this option offers much better value—considering both performance and cost—than we realize.

Finally, bear in mind that the ultimate goal of using aluminum with the right heat-management properties is to ensure the tobacco "cooks" properly, allowing us to enjoy the best possible smoking experience.
